95 yr old parents at Manor Village on Victoria street in London on.

Higher rate, lower hours support position for independent contractor, with other clients.

My dad is hard of hearing, so cleat crisp English is needed for him to understand.

To supplement facility staff who are often quite rushed, at a time when my parents move quite slowly, we would like somebody to visit once or twice a week for about 90 minutes.

Much of their family is in the Toronto area and we cant get there as often as we would like.

There is one family member in St.

Thomas.

This would be to provide a bit of companionship, stimulation and tend to minor issues, neglected by staff.

They are in assisted living.

As their mobility has recently declined along with some minor mental health issues, things have been being missed or neglected in their small apartment, and they have stopped attending activities.

Somebody that could encourage one or both to go to an activity, organize their clothes, they tend to mix up, clean and dirty.

So would like to have fresh clothes laid out and dirty in the laundry on a regular basis they are pretty much wheelchair-bound, do spend a lot of time in bed.





My mom can use the walker a bit but only under supervision in the apartment.

During my visit this week, we found they were drinking water from dirty cups that had not been washed in a very long time, moldy peaches on the counter, and no cleaner of any type being used for my dads dentures when he puts them in a cup of water at night. I was there at my dad had cut his finger, trying to do his own fingernails with a pair of scissors.

Staff are task based not time based and In-N-Out quickly.

Prefer somebody that we deal with directly and reports back to the family on anything that needs attention , not an agency provided person.

We pay the day after the visit by e-transfers, to your email address.
