LEAD HAND Water & Sewer Construction WCL is looking for an experienced Lead Hand to support the foreman with day-to-day operations on our underground water and sewer crews.

This role bridges the gap between the foreman and crew, keeping work safe, organized, and productive. WHAT YOU NEED : 3+ years experience in underground water and sewer construction.

Previous experience as a Foreman, Lead Hand, Topman or Pipelayer.

Strong understanding of pipe installation, line and grade, and trench operations.

Ability to coordinate labourers, pipe layers, and operators.

Comfortable directing work, solving problems, and keeping crews on task.

Solid knowledge of trench safety and site safety practices.

Able to communicate clearly with foremen and project supervision.

Safety-focused with strong leadership skills.

Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented. REQUIRED TICKETS: Valid Class 5 Drivers License. WHMIS & CSTS 2020 (or willing to obtain). SCHEDULE: 7:00 AM 7:00 PM. 8 hour Saturdays (some planned Saturdays off).

Some rain days off.

Potential for backfill and prep work on some Sundays and long weekends.
