Adecco is currently hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a full-time opportunity in St.

John''s, NL.

This role is ideal for a compassionate and patient-focused nursing professional who is passionate about specialty care and interested in supporting patients across a variety of therapeutic areas, including dermatology, gastroenterology, rheumatology, neurology, and oncology.

In this position, you will provide direct patient care in a nurse-led clinic, administering biologics and other specialty medications while supporting patient assessment, education, treatment, and ongoing disease management.

You will also play an important role in helping patients navigate complex treatment pathways and reducing barriers to specialized care.

Salary : $25-$30/hour Location: St.

John''s, NL Employment Type: 1 Full-Time position | Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM Employment Type: 1 Part-Time position | Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM Responsibilities Supervise and monitor phototherapy treatments for dermatology patients.

Provide medical support and education to patients and healthcare professionals regarding specific diseases, therapies, medications, and disease management.

Support and monitor the administration of IV infusions and injectable treatments in the clinic.

Provide patient self-injection training as required.

Coordinate biologic therapies and provide education to dermatology patients.

Administer medications and vaccines through intramuscular (IM) and subcutaneous (SC) injection as required.

Perform phlebotomy for patients requiring bloodwork.

Monitor patients following infusions and injections and accurately document all completed activities.

Prepare for and attend specialized training sessions for specific therapies as required.

Review patient files prior to treatment to understand and document relevant medical history.

Maintain accurate and complete patient records to ensure treatment histories are properly documented.





Maintain the confidentiality of patient and corporate information at all times.

Liaise with physicians'' offices, pharmacies, service providers, and other stakeholders to provide comprehensive and coordinated patient care.

Participate in ongoing internal and external continuing education activities.

Administer and follow established patient care protocols, including clinical monitoring, data collection, ongoing patient follow-up, compliance monitoring, therapy disruption or discontinuation monitoring, and adverse event reporting.

Liaise with primary healthcare providers regarding patient treatment and care as required.

Follow all applicable provincial College of Nurses guidelines and professional standards while providing patient care.

Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada.

Must be a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Newfoundland and Labrador.

Valid CPR and First Aid certification is required.

Must be able to provide proof of professional liability coverage.

Experience working in dermatology is highly desirable. 2 to 4 years of infusion experience or equivalent experience is considered an asset.

Experience in inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), rheumatology, neurology, or oncology is considered an asset.

Experience in critical care, emergency care, or acute care is a strong asset.

Ability to confidently administer IM and SC medications.

Ability to confidently provide patient education, including self-injection training.

Robust commitment to supporting patient care and reducing barriers to treatment.





Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision while contributing effectively to a larger remote team.

Understanding of the pharmaceutical industry is considered an asset.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve issues effectively and efficiently.

Ability to meet deadlines and remain flexible according to patient and healthcare provider requirements.

Ability to maintain accurate, confidential patient documentation.

Ability to adhere to established policies, procedures, clinical protocols, and professional nursing standards.
