Supervisor Employment Status/Type: Full time Seasonal (December Thru April) Weather dependent Compensation: $ (alongside further perks) ____________________________________________________________ JOB SYNOPSIS: In this role you will assist leading and being the main point of contact for the shop in absence of the Rental and Retail

Supervisor.

The main duties will be assisting the guests with their retail purchases at Whitewater.

Whether purchasing new gear for themselves or souvenirs oftheir trip to Whitewater, you will help them purchasewhat''s best for them using specific product knowledge and excellent customer service.

Along with guest service in the retail shop, your responsibilities will include store displays, helping with cycle counts, inventory control, re-stocking and keeping the store looking fresh and new by rotating products. IMMEDIATE REPORTS Retail Representatives SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES: Merchandising, price marking, selling and inventory maintenance.

Helping build the sales culture within the team.





Cash handling processing debit, credit and cash transactions.

Opening and closing duties: cashing in and cashing out, cleaning, organizing.

Flexibility and willingness to jump into another role if necessary.

Knowledge and passion for our company and the resort.

Implementation of risk management procedures as per Whitewater and Industry best practices.

Communicating with other staff members.

Keeping the space clean, stocked and looking its best.

Other duties as assigned.

Must be willing to travel to the mountains and work weekends and holidays as required. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS / EDUCATION: Previous retail experience an asset.

Computer and cash handling experience.

Previous supervisor or lead experience an asset. SKILLS & ABILITIES: Excellent guest services skills.

Previous merchandising experience an asset.

Previous inventory management experience and asset. PLEASE NOTE: A current Criminal Records Check will be required as part of the hiring process.
