Position: Skilled Trades Professionals (Millwrights, Electricians, Welders, Heavy-Duty Mechanics, Carpenters, Machinists, Pipefitters & General Trades) Position Type: Full-Time / Permanent & Contract Opportunities Available Location: Various Locations across BC (Lower Mainland, Surrey, Fraser Valley, Vancouver Island & Interior) Schedule: Monday

Friday (Occasional weekend/overtime shifts depending on project demands) Shift Time: Day Shifts, Afternoon Shifts, and Rotational Options Available Wage: $32.00 $55.00+ / Hour (Competitive rates reflective of trade, ticket status, and experience) PPE Required: Steel-toed safety boots (6 or 8 ankle high required).

Specialized PPE supplied depending on site rules.

Eligibility: You must currently reside in and be legally permitted to work full-time in British Columbia, Canada.

SafeBC guidelines Responsibilities Perform trade-specific duties (maintenance, installation, fabrication, troubleshooting, construction, or repair) within industrial, commercial,



or residential sites Interpret and work from blueprints, schematics, engineering drawings, and technical manuals Utilize specialized hand/power tools, trade machinery, and diagnostic equipment safely and efficiently Perform routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and quality assurance checks Adhere strictly to Work

SafeBC safety regulations, site-specific safety protocols, and hazard assessments Support and mentor apprentices or junior crew members on site Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas throughout the shift Report equipment defects, safety hazards, or operational delays to site management promptly Qualifications Certification / Experience: Red Seal / Journeyperson: Valid Interprovincial Red Seal or Provincial Journeyperson certification in a recognized trade, OR Non-Ticketed: Minimum 3+ years of direct, verifiable hands-on experience in your trade Strong mechanical/electrical aptitude with proficiency using specialized trade tools and equipment Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints Valid Drivers License and reliable transportation (preferred) Safety tickets are considered a strong asset (e.g., CSTS/BSSE, Fall Protection, Confined Space, First Aid, Forklift/Telehandler) Mechanically inclined with strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Physically capable of meeting the demands of active trade work Excellent communication, teamwork, and a strong safety-first mindset Physical Conditions / Work Environment Work environments vary by site (indoor shops, manufacturing plants, outdoor active job sites, or covered industrial facilities) Physical tasks include continuous standing, walking, bending, crouching, climbing, and lifting up to 50 lbs Exposure to industrial surroundings, including noise, dust, moving machinery, and varying weather conditions Strict adherence to PPE standards (steel-toe boots, high-vis vests, hard hats, safety glasses, hearing protection)
