Job Overview Reporting to the

Vice-President, Corporate Controller, as the Senior Manager, Financial Reporting you lead the Financial Reporting team and deliver accurate quarterly and annual consolidated and individual legal entity financial statements for a complex multi-entity group, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with applicable accounting standards.

You manage monthly internal financial reporting and analysis, maintain and enhance reporting policies, procedures and controls and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

The Senior Manager, Financial Reporting ensures consistency of accounting information among entities, creation and maintenance of corporate accounting policies and internal control procedures, and compliance with accounting standards.

This role drives continuous improvement, provides leadership, and coaching and development to the financial reporting team.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include: Leading the preparation and reviewing of quarterly and annual consolidated financial statements for a multi-entity group ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with applicable accounting standards.

Managing the quarterly and annual financial statement close process, including consolidation, intercompany eliminations, foreign currency translation and review of legal entity results.

Overseeing complex consolidation activities, ownership structures, minority interest, equity accounting, acquisitions, disposals, restructurings and changes in group structure.

Preparing internal management monthly financial reporting, reviewing and analyzing financial results, identifying key movements, unusual transactions, accounting issues, and reporting risks.

Maintaining and enhancing financial reporting policies, procedures,



and controls to ensure consistency across legal entities and alignment with group accounting requirements Leading, coaching, and developing members of the financial reporting team, setting clear objectives, reviewing performance, and supporting professional growth.

Partnering with branch and business unit accounting teams to ensure accurate reporting, appropriate accounting treatment, and adherence to group reporting deadlines and standards.

Leading the resolution of complex technical accounting matters, including preparation or review of accounting position papers and coordination with external auditors Supporting the external audit process, preparing audit schedules, reviewing deliverables, responding to auditor queries, and coordinating across group entities .

Collaborating with corporate and regional accounting teams, tax, finance, legal and operations to ensure accurate reporting of activities and legal entity performance.

Reviewing agreements, joint ventures, partnerships or corporations for new entities to ensure financial statements are accurate and comply with accounting standards.

Driving process improvements in consolidation, reporting, close management, and financial systems, and improving efficiency, accuracy, transparency and scalability.

Monitoring developments in accounting standards and regulatory requirements,



assessing their impact on the groups financial reporting and leading implementation.

Essential Requirements Chartered Qualified Accountant (CPA) designation.

Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or equivalent.

Minimum 8years of progressive financial reporting experience including investment accounting, consolidations and foreign currency translation Satisfactory verification of criminal record check.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Programs (Outlook, Word, Access, Teams, Share

Point and Power

Point) and accounting software (Caseware, New

Star, Yardi or similar).
