Position Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Resident Care Aide (RCA) to join a supportive care team serving the Bella Bella community through.

In this role, you will provide essential personal care and daily living support to residents in a long-term care or assisted living setting. You will work closely with nurses and interdisciplinary teams to ensure residents receive safe, respectful, and person-centered care.

- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility
- Support residents with feeding and hydration needs
- Monitor and report changes in residents’ condition to nursing staff
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment




- Build positive relationships with residents and families
- Follow care plans and infection control protocols
- Assist with transfers and positioning using proper techniques
- Document care activities as required
- Promote dignity, independence, and emotional well-being

- Graduation from a recognized Health Care Assistant / RCA program
- Registration with the BC Care Aide & Community Health Worker Registry
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Previous long-term care or assisted living experience preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care
- Physical ability to perform caregiving duties
