The West Coast General Hospital in Port Alberni is a modern, well equipped 75 bed community hospital with 56 acute (3 ICU) and 32 multilevel beds and 24-hour emergency room services.

Our congenial medical community enjoys a full complement of Family Physicians along with specialist colleagues in anesthesiology, general surgery, obstetrics/ gynecology, urology, internal medicine, psychiatry and radiology.

Benefits May be eligible for additional remuneration in accordance with the Rural Subsidiary Agreement (RSA) including: Recruitment Incentive - $10, Fee Premium - 7.98%; Annual Flat Fee - $12,.72 Rural CME starting at $/annum in year 3&4 in community, increasing to a maximum of $/annum after 4 years.
