Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly, take their orders accurately, and serve food and drinks promptly.
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS for order entry, billing, and cash handling.
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including alcoholic drinks, following standard recipes and safety guidelines.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area and dining space in compliance with food safety standards.
- Manage cash transactions efficiently, ensuring accurate cashiering and basic math calculations for bills and change.
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their visit, addressing any concerns with professionalism and a positive attitude.
- Follow food handling procedures to ensure safety, quality, and hygiene standards are upheld at all times.
Skills
- Previous restaurant or food service experience is highly preferred, with a strong understanding of hospitality principles.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS for efficient order processing and cashiering.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests in a friendly, professional manner.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables or bar orders simultaneously without sacrificing quality.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques to ensure guest safety.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling, billing, and making change quickly under pressure.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
