Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Server/Cashier to join our dynamic team. This role involves providing exceptional customer service, accurately handling transactions, and ensuring a positive dining experience for all guests. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service, strong communication skills, and the ability to work in a quick-paced environment.

Previous restaurant experience and familiarity with food industry standards are preferred but not required. This position offers an opportunity to develop valuable skills in food preparation, cashiering, and customer relations.

Responsibilities

- Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately using POS systems such as Clover
- Handle cash and card transactions, and process payments efficiently and accurately
- Prepare and serve food items according to safety and sanitation standards
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, including kitchen stations and dining spaces
- Ensure food safety protocols are followed during food handling and serving processes
- Assist in food preparation as needed,



supporting kitchen staff during busy periods
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving issues promptly
- Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables efficiently during peak hours

Skills

- Experience with Food Service operations, including serving, cashiering, and food handling
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Clover for order entry and payment processing
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and processing transactions accurately
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced restaurant environment
- Excellent time management skills to ensure timely service delivery
- Kitchen experience or food industry background is a plus for supporting food preparation tasks
- Upselling techniques to promote menu items and enhance guest satisfaction

Pay: From $17.80 per hour
