Duties
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Take accurate food and drink orders using the restaurant's point-of-sale system.
- Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
- Provide recommendations to guests on menu items, including upselling special dishes or drinks.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including sanitizing tables and utensils between guests.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any guest concerns.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in full service restaurant environment is required, at least one year.
- Strong guest service skills with a friendly demeanour and positive attitude.
- Ability to work efficiently in a rapid-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Knowledge of kitchen operations and sanitation practices is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
