Job Summary

Takes responsibility for cash handling procedures related to the restaurant. Takes responsibility for counter service and dispensing of alcoholic beverages in the restaurant. Takes responsibility for housekeeping duties as assigned.

Restaurant

Servers are the main point of contact with guests and are expected to display a positive, outgoing and engaging attitude while providing excellent customer service. Advises the Food and Beverage Manager of issues related to guest satisfaction and items relating to facilities management. SmartServe training is required for this position.

Innerkip

Highlands operates seven days per week during the golf season. Hours fluctuate from early mornings to evenings depending on seasonality and include weekends and holidays. Please be aware that applicants will be expected to be available for a variety of shifts throughout the season. Reports to the Food and Beverage Manager.

Job Tasks/Duties

- Provides counter and table service to guests.
- Performs Front of House opening and/or closing duties.
- Assists with set up duties for tournament meals
- Performs bussing duties as required
- Restocks refrigerators and counter displays.
- Assists in the proper storage of product deliveries
- Maintains compliance with Health Board and other jurisdictional requirements regarding food handling, preparation, and sanitation.




- Maintains compliance with AGCO requirements requiring the purchase, sale, and serving of alcoholic beverages.
- Performs housekeeping activities in the restaurant, patio, counter service areas (including sanitation of surfaces), storage rooms, public restrooms, staff restrooms, staff common areas, recycling areas, and entrances to food service facilities.
- Co-ordinates with staff from other departments for housekeeping duties in public washrooms/locker rooms and staff washrooms and locker areas.
- Performs recycling procedures for cardboard, cans, bottles and returnable containers.
- Ensures a safe environment for employees and guests using Food and Beverage facilities
