Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years Work setting Restaurant Tasks Estimate amount and costs of supplies and food items Estimate labour costs Supervise activities of specialist chefs, chefs, cooks and other kitchen workers Prepare and cook food on a regular basis, or for special guests or functions Arrange for equipment purchases and repairs Consult with clients regarding weddings, banquets and specialty functions Plan menus and ensure food meets quality standards Government programs Recognized employer Support for newcomers and refugees Assists with immediate settlement needs of newcomers and/or refugees (for example: housing, transportation, storage, childcare, winter clothing, etc.)



Supports social and labour market integration of newcomers and/or refugees (for example: facilitating access to community resources, language training, skills training, etc.) Support for Indigenous people Offers mentorship, coaching and/or networking opportunities for Indigenous workers Develops and maintains relationships with indigenous communities, indigenous-owned businesses and organizations Provides cultural competency training and/or awareness training to all employees to create a welcoming work setting for Indigenous workers Work Term: Permanent Work Language: English Hours: 30 to 35 hours per week
