At Cementation, we value experience and are inspired by potential.ABOUT THIS POSITIONWe are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to lead the design and delivery of mechanical systems for mining industrial projects.

This role plays a key part in developing safe, practical, and highquality engineering solutions while mentoring junior engineers and collaborating across disciplines.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITESHealth & Safety

Work in compliance with all Cementation Health and Safety rules and regulations

Identify health and safety hazards or infractions and report them to the Health and Safety Department.

Ensure all applicable safety codes and regulations are met through appropriate design and use of technology.

Act as a safety champion by promoting safe behaviours and integrating safety into all designs produced by the group

General Responsibilities

Lead and deliver mechanical designs for mining construction projects from concept through construction





Develop engineering solutions that meet regulatory requirements, safety standards, and client operational needs

Perform and review engineering calculations, equipment selection, and system layouts

Conduct and participate in technical and drawing design reviews

Provide technical direction, mentorship, and review of work completed by Engineersin

Training

Support project execution through procurement, vendor evaluation, fabrication, and construction phases

Work closely with project management, operations, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver practical, constructible, and costeffective engineering solutions

Supported proposal preparation and technical scope development

Travel Requirements

This position has the requirement for occasional travel to our project sites and offices.

Supervisory Responsibilities

NoneEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCEBachelor''s degree in mechanical engineering

Registered Professional Engineer (P.

Eng.) in Canada6+ years of mechanical engineering experience in mining, heavy industrial, or similar environments

Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, with experience in one or more of the following areas: material handling, HVAC, ventilation, piping, pumping, pneumatics, hydraulics, rigging, and hoisting

Proven ability to lead technical work and mentor junior engineers





Skills, Knowledge & Abilities

Experience across multiple stages of the project and engineering lifecycle, including studies, prefeasibility and feasibility, basic engineering, issuedforconstruction (IFC), procurement, fabrication, installation, and commissioning

Exposure to site work, construction support, and field engineering activities

Experience using 3D mechanical design and engineering analysis software
