About Our Client Our client is a growing and collaborative organization seeking a Finance & Accounting Manager to join their finance team.

Description Drive project financial performance by partnering with Project Managers and site teams to establish budgets, oversee forecasting and job costing reporting, manage change orders and cost reallocations, and monitor financial performance across multiple active developments Lead project costing and financial analysis, including cost-sharing analyses, tender analysis, project cost structures, variance analysis, and identification of cost trends and root causes, providing actionable recommendations to improve project performance Serve as a key finance business partner to senior construction and finance leadership, providing financial insight and recommendations on budgets, forecasts, project risks, costs, and commercial decisions Lead management reporting and project financial controls, including month-end reporting, reconciliations, progress draws, funding packages, payment approvals, holdbacks, construction insurance, and project close-outs Improve financial systems, processes, and reporting by developing financial models, dashboards, cost trackers, and reporting tools while streamlining construction accounting,



cost management, invoicing, and project reporting processes Lead and develop the construction accounting team, providing coaching and oversight to ensure accurate, consistent, and timely financial deliverables while supporting project teams in strengthening financial processes and controls Qualifications University degree in Accounting or Finance 7+ years of progressive experience in management accounting, project finance, costing, or financial analysis, ideally within real estate, construction, or manufacturing People management experience Strong experience in cost analysis, budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis CPA Designation is required Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Solid communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams AI may be used to support certain administrative aspects of our recruitment process.
