Job Overview Reporting to the Regional Safety Manger, as the Safety Supervisor you support and promote a strong safety culture across residential construction sites, offices and facilities.

You are responsible to monitor, the company''s Safety and Health Program, ensuring compliance with legislative requirements, identify and mitigate workplace hazards, and providing practical safety guidance to employees, trades, contractors, and management.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include: Supporting the implementation and continuous improvement of the company''s Safety and Health Program.

Conducting site inspections, audits, hazard assessments, and COR audit activities across assigned locations.

Monitoring compliance with company policies, safe work procedures, and applicable health and safety legislation.

Investigating incidents, near misses, and safety concerns, identifying root causes and recommending corrective actions.

Delivering new hire and site orientations, safety meetings, toolbox talks, and safety-related training.

Providing coaching, guidance, and supporting to employees, supervisors, trades, and contractors on secure work practices.

Maintaining accurate safety records, inspection reports, training documentation, incident reports, and related safety data.

Supporting contractor prequalification and ongoing contractor safety compliance.

Assisting with WCB claims management, return-to-work processes, and Joint Safety and Health Committee activities, as required.

Recommending and implementing initiatives that improving safety performance, compliance, and operational effectiveness.

Responding to urgent safety concerns and supporting emergency response activities when required.





Performing other safety and health duties as assigned.

Essential Requirements Formal education in Occupational Safety, National Construction Safety Officer (NCSO), or Health and Safety Administrator Certification.

Experience supporting COR audit programs and conducting audits.

Emergency First Aid, CPR Level C preferred.

Minimum 5 years of experience in construction safety, preferably within residential construction.

Valid drivers licence and access to reliable vehicle.

Clean Drivers abstract Satisfactory verification of criminal record check.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, Share

Point and Power

Point).
