Education: No degree, certificate or diploma Experience: No experience (will train) Tasks Load, unload and transport construction materials Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks shoring and barricades Mix, pour and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt Level earth to fine grade specifications Clean up chemical spills and other contaminants Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction Direct traffic at or near construction sites Perform other labouring and elemental activities Assist skilled tradespersons Assist equipment operators to secure attachments to equipment or truck Type of materials Concrete products Support for youths Participates in a government or community program or initiative that supports youth employment Offers on-the-job training tailored to youth Offers mentorship, coaching and/or networking opportunities for youth Provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work setting for youth Work Term: Permanent Work Language: English Hours: 40 hours per week
