LeverageTek is actively seeking a Senior Business Analyst – Cybersecurity for an 18-month contract with its Ottawa/Toronto-based customer.

Work Location
The successful candidate will be required to work on a hybrid/remote flexible basis, with a preference for candidates located in Ottawa or Toronto, ON.

Key Tasks

Gather, analyze, document, and validate business and technical requirements for cybersecurity initiatives

Support initiatives including network modernization and Identity & Access Management

Translate technical requirements and concepts into clear, actionable business documentation

Develop and coordinate test plans, learning plans, and training plans for recent cybersecurity tools and capabilities

Collaborate with SI vendors, security testing teams, project managers, technical leads, and business stakeholders

Facilitate workshops, working sessions, requirements reviews, and stakeholder discussions

Partner with Risk, Governance, Architecture, Regulatory, Legal, and Security teams

Identify and manage requirements gaps, dependencies, risks, and stakeholder concerns

Support project planning and implementation activities across multiple cybersecurity workstreams

Ensure stakeholders remain aligned throughout the delivery lifecycle

Help drive adoption and successful implementation of new cybersecurity capabilities

Key Qualifications

10+ years of progressive Business Analysis experience in complex enterprise environments with demonstrated cybersecurity, infrastructure, IAM, or technology transformation exposure

Proven ability to engage and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, including VP-level leadership, with strong political acumen and facilitation skills

Experience translating complex technical requirements into actionable implementation, testing, learning, and training plans across multiple simultaneous workstreams

Qualifications

Strong expertise in requirements gathering, analysis, documentation, and validation





Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills

Ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and workstreams across complex cybersecurity initiatives

Strong problem-solving skills with ability to identify dependencies, risks, gaps, and opportunities

Experience working within complex, matrixed organizational environments

Enhanced Reliability clearance required

Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously

Bilingualism not required

Compensation
