Job Details JOB IS LOCATED AT A REMOTE MINE SITE OR EXPLORATION CAMP, in Northern Saskatchewan. TO START ASAP.
WE COVER YOUR TRAVEL (to-and-from site, out of Saskatoon or Prince Albert), MEALS, & ACCOMMODATIONS when at site!
SHIFT WORK IS REQUIRED (11-HOURS DAY OR NIGHT); WORK SCHEDULES ARE 2-WEEK IN-AND-OUT ROTATIONS.
YOU MUST BE ABLE TO PASS A DRUG & ALCOHOL TEST.
Reporting to the housing manager, Housing Attendants (Housekeepers) are responsible for housekeeping duties at remote northern sites, such as mining facilities and exploration camps. Duties must be completed in accordance with contract standards & specifications.
Duties & Responsibilities Sweep, mop, and wash floors.
Dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, and area rugs.
Make beds.
Clean and sanitize all areas as assigned.
Collect garbage.




Clean rooms to required specifications.
Follow ACLP policies and procedures.
Other duties as assigned.
Things to Consider Require shift work at remote sites - mining facilities & exploration camps.
You MUST be able to work compressed workweeks.
You must be a team player, who works well with others.
Qualifications Ability to work in a fast, thorough, efficient manner with attention to detail.
Grade 10 would be an asset.
One year of housekeeping experience would be an asset.
A suitable combination of education & experience will also be considered.
A valid Drivers license with a protected driving record would be an asset.
Possession of, or ability to obtain a valid, recognized first aid certificate.
Ability to perform housekeeping duties in a safe and efficient manner.
Knowledge of safety procedures associated with working with hazardous products, including WHMIS.
Ability to work with minimal supervision, as well as part of a team.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
Physically able to perform the assigned duties.
