As a Rehabilitation Assistant, you will work closely with occupational therapists and physiotherapists to deliver comprehensive care tailored to the needs of patients and families. Your role involves facilitating therapy services, maintaining equipment, and ensuring accurate patient documentation. Collaboration with a multidisciplinary team is essential for achieving the best possible outcomes for each client.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide direct therapy assistance to children and youth
• Maintain treatment and storage areas effectively




• Participate in care planning meetings and committees
• Document patient progress in detail
• Support community-based rehabilitation services as needed

Requirements:
• One year experience as a Rehabilitation Assistant (OTA/PTA)
• Graduate from a recognized OTA and PTA Program
• Knowledge of disabilities affecting children and youth
• Competence in Microsoft Office and electronic communication
• Valid Nova Scotia driver’s license required
