Could you be the full-time Production Operator in Kingston, ON we’re looking for?
Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your comprehensive production expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside dedicated, innovative, and team-oriented teammates.
You’ll perform production tasks in factory on dedicated workstations on the shopfloor for our products. Assemble and inspect finished product to ensure defined Quality, Cost, Delivery commitments in compliance with EHS policies.
You’ll play a central role in ensuring the smooth production and delivery of signaling products for one of Canada’s largest public transit transformation projects.
We'll look to you for:
Handle, store goods and raw materials in the factory
Set up production equipment: robot, machine, workstation, test bench, inspection tool, warehouse equipment
Clean and maintain working areas and production equipment
Perform manufacturing / production / test tasks as planned by the MRP
Respect task time and quality level assigned by operating instructions, methods process and MRP routing
Identify parts as required by the operating instruction
Monitor the production process and carry out basic testing and quality checks
Deliver production plan on time with expected Quality, Cost and Delivery level
Alert Team Leader on process drift or quality problem
Complete tally sheet on the MRP tool if requested by the Team leader
Pack goods ready for shipment
Respect ESD rules for electronics devices production
Complies with EHS rules
Deal with production,
assembling and completition of products/compents related to railway signallling and electrical equipments and wires
Assemble and integrate signaling and telecom racks
Perform cable routing, pulling and terminations
Perform mechanical mounting and installation of racks and mechanical frames
Follow and comply with work instructions provided by industrilization team
Contribute to products Manufacturing Feedback to support functions in order to improve SQCD performance
Contribute to corrective action of the issue (e.g. QRQC)
Spread best environmental and EHS practices in the team

Experienced and qualified technician or experienced worker in Electronics, Electrical or Mechanical domain.
Technical diploma in Electronics, Electrical or Mechanical domain prefeered
Capability to perform mainly electrical assembly component and products, minor mechanical assembly
Knowledge and ability to read a technical drawing (assembly and component)
Knowledge and capapility to use of measurement tools and torquening tools
Knowledge and capapility to use of crimping tools and Jigs
Capabilty to identify problems and misfuction
Capability to stricly follow written work instructions, QCD standards EHS requirements
Manual skill
Good attitude for teamworking and professional accuracy
Experience in Railway industry, preferably within an industrialization environment for signaling products prefered
A proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement

Compensation
The expected compensation for this role is $55,000 – $70,000 CAD per year, plus benefits and eligibility for an annual performance bonus. Final compensation will be based on skills, experience, and internal equity.
