Job details
sales supervisor - retail
Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
Work setting: Retail service establishment. Jewellery store.
Assign sales workers to duties
Order merchandise
Authorize return of merchandise
Establish work schedules
Sell merchandise
Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising and personnel matters
Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints and supply shortages
Organize and maintain inventory
Supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers
Supervision: 1 to 2 people. Retail salespersons and sales clerks.
Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years.
