SITECH Eastern Canada Ltd. is currently looking for a Field Service Technician to join us at our Winnipeg location. SITECH Eastern Canada Ltd. is Canada’s largest dealership for Trimble construction equipment. Our team at SITECH understands how to apply Trimble technology to effectively solve some of the biggest challenges customers are facing on the construction site. SITECH helps civil engineering and construction customers leverage technology systems for their entire fleet of heavy equipment and survey needs.

Hourly Wage:
$30.00-$36.00 depending on experience.
This position reports directly toService Manager.The following summarizes some key elements of the role.
Field Service Technician:
Participate in safe workplace safety, environmentally sound behaviors and practices at all times in support of Battlefield’s health and safety policy programs and initiatives;
Repair and service equipment on site
Perform inspections on equipment on job site
Ensure parts are ordered in a timely manner
Maneuver efficiently and effectively within the region in all traffic situations
Provide excellent customer relations in a quick-paced
Adaptable to on-call work schedules and willing to work in all weather conditions;
Ensure vehicle is maintained and organized
Perform other duties as assigned.
Must-haves for this role:
Field experience in Civil Construction & Engineering, familiarity with construction processes and technology,
Experience with GPS/GNSS RTK survey solutions, survey theory and heavy equipment,
Ideal candidate will have experience in the construction industry,
Post-secondary education,
Effective Communication Skills,
Positive Attitude.
