Qualifications Formation
This role is a Colour Matcher , focused on delivering accurate colour matches and proofs for customers and national projects while ensuring compliance with strict quality standards and specifications.
Key Responsibilities Create and reproduce high-quality colour matches and proofs.
Support customer requests and national new business projects.
Prepare customer presentations according to defined colour tolerances.
Perform colour proofing using specialized lab equipment, software, and hardware.
Develop and maintain accurate colour formulations for multiple sites.
Record and report colour match and project data using designated systems.
Work with a variety of ink systems, colorants, additives, metallics, pearlescent materials, and substrates.
Maintain laboratory organization, cleanliness, and equipment calibration.
Manage project documentation in physical and electronic formats.




Coordinate supply and equipment needs through established approval processes.
Prioritize projects with guidance from leadership.
Adhere to all quality, safety, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications Education Post-secondary education in Chemistry, or
Minimum 4 years of ink industry-related experience.
Experience 4 to 6 years of colour matching experience across multiple ink systems.
Experience using colour measurement and proofing equipment.
Proficiency with SAP, Excel, Outlook, and colour software systems.
Core Competencies Colour theory and digital colour management expertise.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
Ability to prioritize multiple projects and deadlines.
Customer-focused with strong follow-up and communication skills.
Data entry and record-keeping accuracy.
Knowledge of quality control and laboratory best practices.
