GE Appliances Field Sales Representative

40 Hours/week. Full-time, Travel Required

Responsibilities

Foster strong relationships with retailers

Provide coaching to Sales Representatives

Conduct pre-scheduled training sessions weekly

Provide Sales Assists at locations weekly

Gather market analysis and report market trends of how the product is perceived in the market

Plan and facilitate training and launch meetings to ensure all client/retailer groups can demonstrate product knowledge and have necessary product knowledge and training





Ensure stock levels of merchandise meet product demand and report back

Support Marketing initiatives by maintaining direct contact with sales points in the market

Resolve issues that affect brand integrity and brand presence

Provide feedback to Regional Field Manager and client

Support Go to Market planning and promotional activities in the field

Set up promotional materials and support dealers via incentive events and programs

Provide strategic input to help leverage the client brand.

Merchandising execution

Training facilitation at trade show events as needed

Qualifications

Fluent in English both written and verbal

Excellent communication skills, written and verbal

Demonstrated ability to learn and adapt to new technologies quickly.

Experience using various software programs and tools to streamline work processes.

Recent college/university graduate with a related field of studies is an asset

Post-secondary degree/diploma in a related discipline

Sales experience in home appliances is an asset

Demonstrated experience in working within the Home Appliance sector

Direct Appliance industry experience (Retail of Manufacturer)- asset, not mandatory

Consumer electronics experience (Retail or Manufacturer)

Previous formal training experience (instructor or trainer)

Previous durable good or high-value retail Sales experience

Outbound sales representative experience

Experience as Field Sales Representative

Prior success in training and engaging a sales team in meeting or exceed performance objectives

Available to travel within the market. (Must love being on the road)
