Shape critical control systems in transportation as an ICSS and SCADA Engineer at WSP. Join a collaborative team focused on intelligent solutions for transportation infrastructure across Canada.
In this role, you will work as part of WSP's Rail & Transit team, reporting to the Lead Engineer. Your expertise will contribute to complex projects involving control system design, ensuring compliance with standards. Key responsibilities include developing advanced monitoring strategies and producing technical specifications to enhance delivery processes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop control and monitoring strategies for rail subsystems
• Prepare system narratives, diagrams, and technical documents
• Create control panel layout drawings and wiring schemes
• Manage Bills of Materials and Bills of Quantities
• Conduct peer reviews and support project testing and integration
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related discipline
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in control systems design
• Expertise with PLCs, RTUs, SCADA architectures
• Robust knowledge of communication protocols
• Registered Professional Engineer or ability to register
