The City of Abbotsford seeks an HR Advisor for Disability Management with a commitment to fostering a people-first culture. In this pivotal role, you will oversee both occupational and non-occupational injury management, ensuring compliance with related legislation. Your responsibilities include managing WorkSafeBC claims, developing return-to-work plans, and contributing to wellness programs that enhance employee health and attendance.

Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee disability case management for injuries and illnesses
• Manage WorkSafeBC claims and appeal processes




• Develop return-to-work accommodation plans
• Monitor wellness programs, including substance abuse initiatives
• Support attendance management and health promotion

Requirements:
• Degree or diploma in related field
• Minimum 2 years of disability management experience
• NIDMAR CDMP or CRTWC certification preferred
• Knowledge in occupational health and workplace wellness
• Valid class 5 BC Driver's Abstract
