This role requires a solid focus on environmental protection measures during transit infrastructure projects. You will conduct daily monitoring, verify compliance in sensitive areas, and interact with subconsultants. Your expertise in environmental monitoring will significantly enhance regulatory adherence and project sustainability.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct daily monitoring of environmental compliance activities
• Verify spill prevention and dust control effectiveness
• Maintain logs and photographic documentation of inspections
• Prepare daily reports for the Environmental Compliance Officer
• Interface with project subconsultants for compliance support
Requirements:
• Degree in environmental science or related discipline
• Five years of experience in environmental monitoring
• Background in roadway or transit infrastructure projects
• Knowledge of Ontario environmental legislation
• Certification in Erosion and Sediment Control preferred
Drive environmental stewardship with TRP through detailed inspections and effective communication on compliance issues.
