Inspire and engage students as a Long-Term Occasional Intermediate Math Teacher at the Durham District School Board (DDSB). Foster a love for learning in a supportive classroom this September and October.

As an LTO at DDSB, you'll develop dynamic lessons tailored to Intermediate Math, guiding students in Grades 9 and 10. Your role includes assessing progress, providing constructive feedback, and creating an inclusive setting. Collaboration with parents and the community is essential to enhance student learning and ensure every student feels valued.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and deliver engaging Intermediate Math lessons
• Assess and monitor student learning and growth
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere




• Collaborate with colleagues and families to enrich education
• Adapt instructional strategies to meet diverse student needs

Requirements:
• Ontario teaching certificate (OCT) in good standing
• Required subject qualifications: Intermediate Math
• Availability for FTE 1.0 in September and October
• Background Check with vulnerable sector screening upon hire
• Experience in Secondary education preferred
