Adecco is currently hiring a full-time Warehouse Team Lead for our client.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced warehouse professional with leadership experience and forklift expertise who is looking to take the next step in their career.
As the Warehouse Lead, you will be responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations while leading and mentoring warehouse associates.
This hands-on role combines team leadership, shipping and receiving, inventory control, forklift operation, and safety compliance to ensure effective and accurate warehouse performance.
Pay Rate: $23.00 - $24.00/hour Location: Edmonton, AB Shift: Monday to Friday | 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Job type: Temporary | Full-time Here''s why you should apply: Paid weekly accurate and on time Strong health and safety programs Medical and dental benefits once qualified Free training programs New and quicker onboarding process Responsibilities: Team Leadership Lead, coach, and support warehouse associates throughout daily operations Assign tasks and monitor productivity to ensure operational objectives are achieved Train new employees on warehouse procedures, equipment operation, and safety requirements Foster a positive, respectful, and productive team environment Assist management with employee scheduling, staffing needs, and performance feedback Warehouse Operations Oversee receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping activities Ensure customer orders are processed accurately and shipped on time Monitor inventory levels and support cycle counts and inventory audits Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies and operational issues Maintain warehouse organization and housekeeping standards Forklift Operations Safely operate forklifts and material handling equipment Load, unload, move, stage,
and store products throughout the warehouse Transport materials between warehouse locations and production areas as required Complete daily equipment inspections and report maintenance concerns Ensure products are handled properly to prevent damage and inventory loss Support forklift training and mentoring activities when authorized Safety & Compliance Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with company policies Perform regular safety inspections and address workplace hazards Ensure associates are using required PPE and following safe work practices Participate in safety meetings, investigations, and corrective actions when required Qualifications and Skills: High School Diploma or equivalent Minimum 3 years of warehouse experience Previous lead hand, team lead, or supervisory experience required Valid forklift certification with proven forklift operating experience Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) Strong knowledge of inventory control and cycle counting processes Experience in shipping and receiving operations Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications Ability to regularly lift up to 50 lbs (23 kg) Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift Comfortable operating forklifts and warehouse equipment Ability to work in varying warehouse conditions and temperatures Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada Are you interested in this position?
