As a Registered Nurse, you will oversee the care provided by Registered Practical Nurses and Personal Support Workers while collaborating with healthcare leaders. Your role involves planning and coordinating unit activities, ensuring a high standard of excellence in nursing, and maintaining confidentiality of all residents. Experience in geriatric or long-term care is preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise direct care provided by nursing staff
• Plan and coordinate healthcare activities on the unit
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals and administrative staff
• Maintain resident confidentiality and privacy
• Provide leadership and mentorship to junior nursing staff
Requirements:
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN)
• Current CNO registration as a Registered Nurse
• Experience in geriatric or long-term settings
• CPR certification and excellent communication skills
• Commitment to nursing excellence and organizational skills
