The Nuu-chah-nulth Tribal Council seeks a permanent Clinical Nurse Leader to support professional nursing care. This role demands a graduate-level degree in Nursing, with a minimum of 10 years of clinical experience, particularly with First Nations. The ideal candidate will embody the Nuu-chah-nulth approach to nursing, embracing cultural safety and supporting diverse nursing teams.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide clinical expertise and oversight to nursing teams
• Mentor and guide nurses in NTC Nursing Framework
• Lead culturally safe and trauma-informed care practices
• Collaborate with Child & Youth and Mental Health teams
• Ensure adherence to BCCNM Qualified Standards
Requirements:
• Graduate-level Nursing degree with 10+ years experience
• Current BCCNM license required
• Proven leadership and mentoring ability
• Understanding of Home Care and Communicable Disease programs
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable criminal record check
