Overview Truck trailer mechanic responsible for adjusting, repairing or replacing parts and components of commercial transport truck systems, automotive systems, mechanical units, and performing scheduled maintenance service. Requires fast-paced environment, hand‑eye coordination, attention to detail, manual dexterity, standing for extended periods.
Education Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience 3 years to less than 5 years
Experience and specialization Area of specialization Truck-trailer repair
Responsibilities Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of commercial transport truck systems
Inspect and test mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions
Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of automotive systems
Repair or replace mechanical units or components
Perform scheduled maintenance service
