telecommunications specialist - computer systems

We are currently seeking an Automation Specialist with a strong technical background and great communication skills to join our team. In this role, you will play a key part in delivering high-quality automation solutions. You will be responsible for designing, programming, and implementating of automation systems across a variety of complex projects.
What You?ll Be Doing
Design, configure, and program automation and control systems using PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA systems.
Provide detailed documentation throughout each project.
Complete controls designs and electrical schematics; specifying hardware and components.
Provide expertise and guidance in the identification, analysis and resolution of problems.
Inspect products and processes to identify areas of improvement.
Interact with customers to understand requirements and develop tailored solutions.
Maintain detailed documentation of design specifications, test results, and project progress, adhering to industry standards and regulations.
Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, current technologies, materials and compliance standards.
Prepare hardwired design sketch work on assigned projects.
Develop and implement design standards/modular hardwired designs.
Position Requirements
Bachelor?s degree in Manufacturing, Electrical or Computer Engineering (or equivalent preferred)3+ years of work experience in automation, controls, or a related fieldAutomotive manufacturing experience preferred
Proficiency in PLC and HMI Programming including Siemens and Rockwell
Experience with vision systems, specifically Cognex and Keyence
Strong communication skills to relay complex technical concepts to customers
Proficiency in CAD and drafting software
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Ability to determine customer needs to develop project specifications and scope
Proven ability to interpret and implement specifications accurately
Strong time management, organizational, and interpersonal skills
Able to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States or be eligible for a TN Visa, as some of our projects are based in the U.S
