Education: No degree, certificate or diploma Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years Tasks Measure, cut, fit and install drywall sheets Smooth out excess compound and allow coat to dry Cut openings in lath for heating and ventilation piping, ducts and electrical outlets Install metal stud framing and furring for interior drywall or plaster walls and ceilings, using hand and power tools Install vapour barriers and thermal and sound insulation Prepare wall and ceiling layouts Utilize laser alignment system Workplace information On the road job Support for youths Offers on-the-job training tailored to youth Offers mentorship, coaching and/or networking opportunities for youth Provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work setting for youth Work Term: Permanent Work Language: English Hours: 40 hours per week
