Location: Vancouver, BC (Hybrid) | Reports to: Director, Regulatory Affairs

The Regulatory Affairs team is seeking a highly motivated individual with a passion for utility regulation and an appetite for career growth. This is an excellent opportunity for a regulatory professional who wants to take on meaningful, high-impact work in a growing organization.

In this role, you will lead the preparation of applications and filings to applicable economic regulators across state jurisdictions, respond to data requests, and develop utility arguments in accordance with relevant legislation, policies, frameworks, rules, and guidelines.

What You’ll Do

Prepare and support regulatory applications, filings, responses to data requests, utility arguments, and related materials

Collaborate with finance, operations, accounting, legal, tax, treasury, and external advisors to support regulatory proceedings

Develop, update, and review financial models and analyses that inform regulatory submissions

Help ensure regulatory deadlines, compliance filings, tariff updates, and reporting obligations are met

Conduct research and provide regulatory guidance in support of proceedings, customer matters, and internal business needs

Represent Corix in regulatory proceedings, hearings, and external meetings as required





Support business development activities, including acquisitions, RFP responses, feasibility studies, and due diligence

Monitor regulatory and legislative developments affecting Corix’s utilities and operations

What You Bring

Bachelor's degree in a related field

Minimum 4–6 years of experience with regulated utilities (level-dependent)

Experience appearing before regulatory commissions

Strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret legislation, policies, rules, and guidelines

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)

Preferred Qualifications

Master's degree in a related field

CPA, CFA, P.Eng., or equivalent professional designation

Working Conditions

Hybrid work environment, with work-from-home flexibility.

Periodic travel to Utah and Washington State required. Other infrequent travel within North America may be required

The starting salary range for this position is CAD $130,000-$163,000 per year, with the final salary determined by the successful candidate's skills, experience, and anticipated impact within the role. This position is eligible for a performance-based incentive plan.
