Job Description
Insight Global is looking for a Senior Project Director to support one of Canada's leading construction organizations on a major nuclear project in Chalk River, Ontario.

This individual will be responsible for leading all aspects of project execution and serving as the primary connection between Company, the client, design teams, construction teams, project controls, and Integrated Project Delivery (IPD) partners.

The Senior Project Director will provide overall leadership throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring successful delivery across schedule, budget, quality, procurement, risk, and stakeholder management objectives.

This individual will be responsible for driving alignment across all project participants, leading executive-level meetings, removing project constraints, and ensuring predictable project outcomes in a highly regulated nuclear setting.

The successful candidate will be a visible, hands-on leader with extensive experience delivering large-scale nuclear construction projects.

They will serve as the focal point between the project team and client while providing strategic oversight and leadership to multidisciplinary teams throughout project execution.

This role requires frequent travel within Ontario, with approximately two weeks per month spent in Ottawa or Mississauga and two weeks per month spent at the project site in Chalk River.

Skills and Requirements
• 10+ years of experience operating as a Project Director, Senior Project Manager, Construction Director, Project Executive, or equivalent leadership role
• Minimum 2+ years of direct nuclear project experience
• Demonstrated success leading large-scale construction projects valued at $500M• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent industry experience
Willingness to travel regularly between Ottawa/Mississauga and Chalk River • Previous experience with owner-side organizations such as OPG, Bruce Power, CNL, or similar entities
• Professional Engineer (P.

Eng.), PMP, Gold Seal, or related professional designation
• Experience with general contractors
• Advanced understanding of project controls, earned value management, forecasting, and risk mitigation
• Experience leading IPD, Alliance, or Design-Build projects
• Strong background in contract negotiations, claims management, and commercial strategy
Experience mentoring and developing project leadership teams
