Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Project Specialist for a prominent retailer in Vancouver.

This individual will be responsible for supporting the planning, budgeting, and execution of all brick-and-mortar projects, delivering against the annual real estate plan across recent builds, optimizations, and renovations while also supporting the existing store fleet through minor works and strategic initiatives.

The team plays a key role throughout the full project lifecycle—managing small-scale construction projects, coordinating vendors, overseeing procurement and bidding processes, and ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.

In close partnership with cross-functional and external teams, they support scope development, change management, and site execution, including the coordination of fixtures, finishes, and equipment.

With a solid focus on construction execution, the team reviews architectural drawings, manages purchase orders, oversees in-store work from start to finish, and proactively identifies and mitigates risks to ensure seamless project delivery.

Skills and Requirements
2–5 years of retail or relevant residential construction coordination experience
Hands-on experience managing multiple construction projects at varying stages simultaneously
Strong vendor management skills, including sourcing bids, coordinating work, and overseeing execution
Experience with budgeting, purchase order (PO) creation, and cost tracking
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and support scope development
Proven project coordination skills with strong organization, time management, and communication abilities
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Power

Point, etc.)
Bachelor's degree (preferred) with a minimum of 3+ years of construction-related experience
Demonstrates accountability, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to build trusted relationships across teams
Brings an entrepreneurial mindset, communicates with honesty and positivity, and contributes to a collaborative, high-performing, and enjoyable team environment Experience using Smartsheet for project tracking and coordination
Familiarity with Coupa for procurement and purchasing processes
Experience working within a similar global retail environment with large-scale store development operations
