Pelee Island Clerk
BACKGROUND
Applications are now being accepted for a Temporary Part-Time Medical Clinic Clerk to work on Pelee Island.
The successful applicant will be required to work 0700-1500 and 0830-1630, Monday-Friday including holidays.
The commitment to this position is 37.5 hours per bi-weekly pay period.
Please note this is a temporary position scheduled to begin September 11, 2026 and end on or before September 12, 2027.
EDUCATION
Post-secondary diploma from a recognized Medical Administration program required
Medical Terminology required
QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge of Electronic Health Records software preferred
Three (3) years related clerical and/or office administration experience preferred
Customer Service Training preferred
Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
Ability to work in a fast paced workplace and adapt to rapidly changing priorities
Strong organizational skills with the ability to effectively multitask and prioritize competing responsibilities
Excellent interpersonal, communication and customer service skills
Typing speed 40 wpm
Must have a valid G driver's license and access to a personal vehicle to support lab work/supply transport
Bilingualism is an asset
