Job Description
The Senior Integration Engineer is responsible for analysis, development and ongoing support of Salesforce centric integrations.

The Senior Integration Engineer will work closely with Development Managers,
Senior Software Engineers and other team members such as QA Engineers, Product Owners, Support Engineers (Dev

Ops), Solution Architects and Business Users to deliver high quality software and ensure that systems are interoperating correctly once deployed.

This role specifically focuses on integration and backend microservices development for internal business systems
• Deliver high quality software efficiently
• Provide technical leadership
• Write high quality, testable and easily maintainable code
• Develop test classes and automation test scripts to support Quality Assurance activities
• Perform code reviews and provide feedback to other development team members as required
• Perform systems maintenance tasks
• Mentor team members in technical and other aspects of software development
• Assist Product Owners in turning high-level business requirements into technical tasks and contribute to estimation
• Work with all internal technical stakeholders (Software Engineers, QA Engineers, Support Engineers, Solutions Architects) to ensure product quality and reliability in production environments
• Perform Software Development activities in an Agile workflow with Scrum, backlog grooming and retrospectives
• Stay up to date on technical functionality, current releases and features that are both part of the platform and larger ecosystem.

Skills and Requirements
• Bachelor Degree/Diploma in Computer Science or related discipline




• 5+ years developing software in a variety of environments with a focus on integration
• Technical experience with
o Backend Kotlin/Spring Boot 4, microservices
o Integration Tooling
e.g.

Boomi , Enterprise Kafka
• Proven experience with
o Leveraging APIs to enable and extend integration endpoints
o ERP Systems Integration
o Continuous and prolonged Trunk Based Development
o Scaling from 0-1, 1-100, 100-1000, 1000-10,000 TPS
o Test Driven Development or ATDD
o 0 Downtime upgrades, for services, and of databases, using evolutionary software engineering.
o Operating microservices with Observability.

Business aligned SLIs and SLOs.
o Writing greenfield and brownfield kubernetes manifests and helm charts.
o Asynchronous messaging, event-driven systems, pub/sub, message ordering, and error handling/retries
o Data Modelling and a solid understanding of ETL methodologies
o Secure integration practices
o E2E Integration Testing, including API testing, contract testing, performance testing, load testing, etc.
• Experience in an Agile, CI/CD Development Environment utilizing
o Modern CI/CD pipelines such as CircleCI and Dev Ops practices
o Monitoring tools e.g Datadog, Honeycomb
o Testing Tools e.g.

Postman
o API documentation tools such as OpenAPI, Swagger, Spotlight, etc.
o AI Analysis & Code Generation e.g.

Copilot, Claude o Oracle EBS and Oracle Fusion Cloud
o Salesforce Data Cloud , including data ingestion from data warehouse (Snowflake, Big

Query), and Marketing Cloud
o Salesforce Patterns
