This full-time role, requiring registration with a qualified college, focuses on one-to-one and group sessions aimed at enhancing health and life quality for clients. Your expertise will facilitate critical screenings, assessments, and the development of tailored treatment plans while advocating for comprehensive community resources.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide intake services and respond effectively in crisis situations
• Administer screening tools and assess client needs
• Develop therapeutic relationships and treatment plans
• Facilitate community treatment groups and advocacy
• Offer education on coping techniques and addiction treatment
Requirements:
• Post-secondary education in a relevant field (BSW or equivalent)
• Registration with a designated professional college
• 3 years’ experience in addictions or mental health preferred
• Valid Driver's Licence and access to a vehicle
• Clear Police Vulnerable Sector Check
