Join Epia Neuro as a Hardware Engineering Intern, contributing to cutting-edge neural technology. You'll support hardware development for devices in our Alameda, CA headquarters.
This six-month internship focuses on hardware building, testing, and validation across various systems including implantable and wearable devices. You will report to the Robotics manager while collaborating with engineering teams. Candidates must have hands-on experience in SolidWorks and 3D printing, alongside strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
Key Responsibilities:
• Update and resize 3D models using SolidWorks
• 3D print components and perform post-processing tasks
• Assemble components, integrating sensors and wiring
• Validate devices on the benchtop test system
• Maintain inventory and document build records
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (completed or in progress)
• Proficiency in SolidWorks and 3D printing
• Experience with mechanical assembly and documentation
• Strong communication skills for participant interaction
• Ability to lift up to 15 lbs and operate hand tools
