**Job Title: Forklift Operator**
**Job Description**
This role involves operating forklifts and related powered industrial vehicles in a high-volume cookie manufacturing facility that runs 24/7.

You will support production and packaging operations on the B shift, ensuring materials and finished goods move safely and efficiently while following strict food safety and GMP standards.
**Responsibilities**
Operate forklifts and other powered industrial vehicles, including sit-down and stand-up counterbalance, walkie/rider, and reach trucks, to move raw materials, packaging, and finished goods throughout the facility.

Load, unload, and transport materials safely while adhering to all facility safety procedures and food manufacturing guidelines.

Support production and packing activities by ensuring timely delivery and removal of materials from production lines and storage areas.

Use computer systems to complete inventory movements, track materials, and perform basic data entry related to warehouse and production activities.

Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) at all times to maintain a clean, organized, and compliant food production environment.

Handle and lift items weighing up to 50 pounds on a regular basis as part of material handling and packing tasks.

Work collaboratively with production workers and other team members in a busy manufacturing environment to meet operational goals.

Maintain a high level of awareness of surroundings and equipment to prevent accidents and ensure a safe workplace.

Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), including hair nets, smocks, safety shoes, and ear protection, and comply with all hygiene and safety rules.

Adapt to a weekend night B shift schedule and remain flexible to work two additional days during the week on day, afternoon, or night shifts as needed.
**Essential Skills**
Valid forklift certification and Powered Industrial Vehicle (PIV) license with at least one year of experience operating sit-down/stand-up counterbalance, walkie/rider, and reach truck equipment.

Demonstrated experience working in a GMP-regulated environment, preferably in consumer packaged goods or food manufacturing.

Ability to lift and handle items weighing up to 50 pounds safely and repeatedly.

Strong computer skills and comfort using computer systems as an integral part of daily work.

Experience with packing or production support in a manufacturing or warehouse setting.

Attention to detail and commitment to following safety, hygiene, and operational procedures.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
Experience with SAP or an equivalent warehouse management system is a strong asset.

Background in consumer packaged goods manufacturing or similar high-volume production environments.

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced facility with a large production workforce.





Willingness to wear PPE such as hair nets, smocks, safety shoes, and ear protection in accordance with facility requirements.

The position is on the weekend night 24/7 B shift, with flexibility required to work two additional days during the week on day, afternoon, or night shifts.

The facility requires specific attire, including hair nets, smocks, safety shoes, and ear protection, to maintain safety and food quality standards.

Work involves regular lifting of up to 50 pounds and operating powered industrial vehicles in an active manufacturing setting.
