At Connective’s Whitehorse Residential Support program, you will work full-time Tuesday to Saturday, fostering independence and stability among residents. Your job will entail collaborating with clinical professionals to create a supportive environment based on trauma-informed and culturally safe practices. Help clients thrive in their daily lives through life skills development and community engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
• Participate in client program planning and evaluation
• Assist clients with daily living and social skills
• Identify and manage potential emergencies
• Facilitate transportation to community activities
• Maintain detailed records and conduct regular setting checks
Requirements:
• Diploma in Social Services and one-year experience preferred
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license
• Personal transportation with insurance coverage
• Current Emergency First Aid Certificate
• Successfully pass a Vulnerable Persons Criminal Records Check
