Drive compliance excellence with J.D. Irving as an Industrial Compliance Officer. Develop governance artifacts and support NIST Cybersecurity Framework implementation in this full time role.
As part of J.D. Irving's team, you will partner with the Senior Specialist to establish robust governance protocols, ensuring consistent and auditable compliance. The position focuses on creating RACI matrices, decision flows, and templates while assisting in the River Class Destroyer Program’s cybersecurity initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and monitor security governance policies and procedures
• Coordinate program security activities and schedules
• Engage with stakeholders for effective communications
• Support implementation of the NIST Cybersecurity Framework
• Assist in cybersecurity risk assessments and audits
Requirements:
• Post-secondary degree or diploma in a relevant field
• 0-2 years of experience, eager to learn and grow
• Familiarity with NIST CSF or risk management frameworks
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
