**Job Title: Forklift Operator**
**Job Description**
Join a high-volume cookie manufacturing facility as a Forklift Operator on the 24/7 B weekend night shift.

In this role, you safely operate various powered industrial vehicles, support production and packing operations, and use computer systems to manage inventory and materials in a fast-paced, GMP-compliant food environment.
**Responsibilities**
Operate sit-down and stand-up counterbalance forklifts, walkie/rider pallet jacks, and reach trucks to move raw materials, packaging, and finished goods throughout the facility.

Load, unload, and transport pallets and materials safely and efficiently while following all site safety and GMP protocols.

Support production and packing lines by ensuring timely delivery and removal of materials to and from designated areas.

Use computer systems to record material movements, track inventory, and complete required documentation accurately.

Work with SAP or an equivalent warehouse management system, when applicable, to process transactions and maintain accurate stock records.

Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and food safety guidelines at all times in a peanut-free environment.

Perform manual material handling, including lifting items up to 50 pounds as needed for packing and related tasks.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, including forklifts and other equipment, and report any issues promptly.

Adhere to all site rules regarding personal protective equipment, hygiene, and dress code, including hair nets, smocks, safety shoes, and ear protection.

Collaborate with production workers and other team members to meet operational goals and respond to changing priorities across shifts.

Work weekend night shifts on the 24/7 B schedule and remain flexible to cover an additional two days during the week on day, afternoon, or night shifts as required.
**Essential Skills**
Valid forklift certification and active Powered Industrial Vehicle (PIV) license for at least one year.

Proven experience operating sit-down and stand-up counterbalance forklifts, walkie/rider pallet jacks, and reach trucks.

Demonstrated ability to work in a GMP-regulated, consumer packaged goods or food manufacturing environment.

Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds safely and repeatedly as part of daily duties.

Strong computer skills with the ability to navigate and use computer systems as a core part of the role.

Experience with packing and material handling in a manufacturing or warehouse setting.

Commitment to following safety procedures, GMP requirements, and food facility standards.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
Experience using SAP or an equivalent warehouse management system.

Previous work in a high-volume food manufacturing facility.

Familiarity with inventory control processes and documentation.

Ability to work effectively on weekend night shifts and flex to day, afternoon, or night shifts during the week.





Robust attention to detail and accuracy when handling materials and entering data.

Ability to work collaboratively with large production teams in a fast-paced environment.

The facility requires the use of personal protective equipment, including hair nets, smocks, safety shoes, and ear protection, as part of the standard dress code and safety protocols.

You operate forklifts and other powered industrial vehicles on the production floor and in warehouse areas, using computer systems and potentially SAP or equivalent tools to manage inventory.

The position is primarily on the weekend night 24/7 B shift, with flexibility required to work two additional days during the week on day, afternoon, or night shifts, reflecting a dynamic, around-the-clock operation.
