We are seeking motivated candidates for a temporary Utility Operator 1 (Labourer) position expected to last until December 2026. Key responsibilities include assisting with the installation and maintenance of municipal water systems, wastewater systems, and stormwater systems. Key Responsibilities:
• Assist with repairs and replacements of water infrastructure
• Support connections and inspections for utilities




• Participate in water main flushing and valve exercising
• Conduct meter readings and hydrant maintenance
• Perform painting and other related duties as needed

Requirements:
• Completion of Grade 12 education
• Relevant training in water distribution or wastewater
• Valid Class 5 B.C. Driver's License required
• Ability to work autonomously and with minimal supervision
• Physically capable of performing demanding tasks
