This full-time, permanent role based in Edmonton requires an experienced accountant dedicated to child and youth empowerment. Key responsibilities include reviewing financial records, reconciling accounts, and preparing monthly reports. The role demands robust attention to detail and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Key Responsibilities:
• Review and ensure accuracy of accounting records
• Reconcile GL accounts and resolve variances
• Prepare monthly journal entries including accruals
• Maintain updated chart of accounts as needed
• Complete bank reconciliations for multiple accounts
Requirements:
• Degree in accounting or related field
• Minimum two years of full cycle accounting experience
• Knowledge of Canadian GAAP
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
• Experience with Sage 300 is an asset
