Location & Hours Work location: On-site at Distress Centre Calgary (999 8 St SW, Suite 500).
Hours: Monday – Friday 9am-5pm , with occasional evenings or weekends as required.

What to Expect The Workforce Analyst reports to the Director, People & Culture. This role is responsible for helping Distress Centre make informed decisions about staffing, workforce costs, and organizational planning. Working closely with People & Culture, Finance, Departmental Directors and program leaders, this position brings together workforce and financial information to identify trends, support planning,
and provide clear insights to decision-makers.
Day to day, you can expect to work with workforce data, budgets, funding information, and reporting systems; develop and maintain reports and analytical tools; support workforce planning and forecasting; and collaborate with leaders to understand staffing needs and financial considerations. You will also help ensure workforce information is accurate, well documented, and aligned with organizational requirements.
This is a role for someone who enjoys working with data and solving problems, but who can also communicate findings clearly and build strong working relationships across the organization.

Workforce Planning & Decision Support Analyze workforce information and trends to support staffing and organizational planning.
Develop forecasts, scenarios, and other analytical tools to help leaders understand workforce needs and potential impacts.
Work with managers and leaders to provide data and insights that support informed staffing decisions.
Workforce Financial Analysis Monitor and analyze staffing costs in relation to approved budgets and grant requirements.
Support the development and maintenance ofstaff grant tracking and costing models.
Identify trends,
variances, and potential funding risks and communicate findings to relevant stakeholders.
Workforce Analytics, Reporting & Business Intelligence Prepare regular workforce reports, dashboards, and analyses for People & Culture, Finance, leadership, and governance groups.
Collect, organize, and interpret workforce data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
Translate complex information into clear, practical insights and recommendations.
What You Bring A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Data Analytics, Commerce ,or a related field. Certificate or training in Human Resources is desirable.
5-8 years of progressive experience in business analysis, workforce analytics, financial analysis, data analysis, or a related analytical role.
Experience working with data, financial information, budgets, forecasting, and/or workforce planning.
Experience using HRIS, spreadsheets, reporting, or business intelligence tools to organize and analyze information.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify trends and turn data into practical recommendations.
The ability to communicate complex information clearly to people with different levels of technical and analytical experience.
Proven interpersonal and cultural competency skills to work effectively and respectfully with people from diverse backgrounds and lived experiences.
Additional Employment Requirements As a condition of employment, all successful candidates are required to complete and maintain a Police Information Check. For those in direct service user-facing roles, a Vulnerable Sector Search is also required.
