This full-time position with South Riverdale Community Health Center is for a passionate Health Promoter dedicated to improving health access for marginalized communities in East Toronto. You will coordinate health programming and work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to facilitate health promotion and social prescriptive initiatives. Your role involves engaging with diverse populations, including those experiencing homelessness and mental health challenges, effectively promoting health services.
Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate health promotion programs and initiatives
• Collaborate with community organizations for program planning
• Support Women’s Screening Clinic and associated programs
• Facilitate mobile health clinic operations and outreach
• Advocate for priority populations and accessible services
Requirements:
• Post-graduate degree in health or related discipline
• 3-5 years health promotion experience
• Class ‘G’ Ontario Driver’s License
• Experience with diverse and disadvantaged communities
• Robust communication and interpersonal skills
Lead transformative health initiatives in East Toronto, uniting community resources to empower those in need.
